#3/4 Agnieszka Piksa

Po sviatkoch sme späť a pokračujeme s predstavovaním autorov uverejnených v poslednom čísle X roku 2013. Ďalšou v poradí je poľská výtvarníčka, kresliarka a ilustrátorka Agnieszka Piksa (1983). Študovala na Akadémii Jána Matejku v Krakove, kde momentálne aj žije a tvorí. Spolu s Mikołajom Tkaczom vydala prvú knihu s názvom "Nieznany Geniusz"/"Unconspicious genius", ktorá vyšla tento rok pod hlavičkou Centrala, čo je centrum pre stredoeurópsky komix so sídlom v Poľsku. Absolvovala niekoľko spoločných a samostatných výstav, v roku 2009 "Dilatations" v Krakove a v 2011 "Clou Clouds" v Poznani na Ligatura Festivale. Sériu kresieb inšpirovanú reálnymi príbehmi a situáciami Working People nám špeciálne pripravila pre X 3/4. Komiksom a kresbám s použitým textom dávame priestor v kontexte s písaným slovom a zaradili sme ich medzi texto-obrazy v textovej časti. Nastáva recipročná výmena odkazov a informácií, nových podnetov a obrazovo-slovných hier.

After long holiday time we are back with introducing artists participating in the X3/4. Next one is polish artist, illustrator and drawer Agnieszka Piksa (1983). She studied at the Jan Matejko Academy in Krakow, Poland, where she currently lives and works. In cooperation with Mikołaj Tkacz she published her first comic book, titled "Nieznany Geniusz"/"Unconspicious genius" which was released this year by Centrala, Poland. She took part in many group exhibitions and had 2 solo exhibitions, "Dilatations" (2009, Cracow) and "Clou clouds"(2011, Ligatura Festival, Poznan).The series of drawings inspired by real stories and situations under the title "Working People" has been created especially for X magazine. Comic strips and drawings with texts find their place in the context of words and we insert them between the text-images in the written part of the magazine. This results in a reciprocal exchange of information and links, new impulses, and image-word games.
